Funnel Cake Treat made with Golden OREO Cookie Pieces
This spoonable, frozen treat combines vanilla soft serve and strawberries with a funnel cake made with Golden OREO Cookie Pieces, and finished with even more sweetness - a sprinkle combination of crushed Golden OREO Cookie Pieces and sugar. Consumers will love dipping the warm funnel cake in the cool, frozen treat for a play on different temperatures and textures.

- 4½ oz. finely ground Golden OREO Pieces-Medium
- 3½ oz. granulated sugar
Funnel Cake Batter
- 1½ lb. all-purpose flour
- 6 oz. finely ground Golden OREO Pieces-Medium
- 3½ oz. granulated sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 32 oz. whole milk
- 10 oz. lightly beaten eggs
For Each Serving
- 6 oz. vanilla soft-serve ice cream
- 2 oz. frozen strawberries, thawed
- 1½ oz. Golden OREO Pieces-Medium
Nutrition per serving
Combine cookie crumbs and sugar in airtight container. Set aside until ready to use.
Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Whisk milk and eggs in second large bowl. Add dry ingredients to egg mixture; mix well.
Heat a pot of oil on medium-high heat to 375ºF. Place #1 piping tip into a funnel, then fill with 1/4 cup batter. Holding funnel close to the surface of the oil, swirl batter into oil. Fry until golden brown on both sides, turning once. Drain. While still hot, coat Funnel Cake with Topping mixture. Repeat with remaining batter.
Combine 6 oz. ice cream, 2 oz. strawberries and 1.5 oz. cookie pieces, being careful not to break up the cookie pieces. Spoon into small serving glass. Top with 1 Funnel Cake.
