Cracker Coated Cookies made with OREO and RITZ Crushed Crackers

  • 9 oz. all-purpose flour
  • 9 oz. potato starch
  • 36 each whole OREO Cookies
  • 20 oz. water
  • 1½ tsp. salt
  • 1¼ lb. crushed RITZ Crackers

DIRECTIONS

Combine flour and potato starch in large bowl. Toss cookies in mixture, shaking off excess. Set cookies aside.

Add water and salt to remaining flour mixture in bowl; mix well to form a batter.

Dip each coated cookie into batter, then into cracker crumbs. Fry in 340°F deep fryer 20 to 30 seconds per side or until desired color is reached. Drain on paper towels. Plate three warm cookies per serving.

Tips

Batter is more than enough to coat cookies. Store remaining batter in refrigerator until ready to coat additional cookies.
