Coconut Macaroons made with OREO Cookies Pieces
Ingredients
20 macaroons
- 8 oz. sweetened flaked coconut
- 3½ oz. granulated sugar
- ⅛ tsp. salt
- 3 oz. egg whites
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- 4 oz. OREO Medium Cookie Pieces

Line half-sheet pan with parchment.
Combine coconut, sugar and salt in medium mixing bowl. Stir in combined egg whites and vanilla. Gently stir in OREO Pieces.
Use #40 scoop to portion coconut mixture into prepared pan.
Bake in 350°F standard oven 20 to 25 min. or until lightly browned. Cool completely before removing from pan.
Chocolate Macaroons with OREO
Prepare as directed, mixing 1/4 cup EACH natural cocoa powder and OREO Base Cake with coconut mixture before stirring in egg white mixture.
Baking Tip
When scooping macaroon batter into prepared pan, dip scoop in water between scoops to prevent batter from sticking to scoop.
