Caramelized Onion Dip with RITZ Crackers
Ingredients
48 servings, 2 Tbsp. and 5 Crackers each or 1-1/2 qt.
- 1½ lb. yellow onions, diced
- 2 oz. olive oil
- 2 oz. butter
- 2 lb. sour cream
- 12 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz. mayonnaise
- 4 oz. buttermilk
- 6 oz. Dijon mustard
- 2 oz. green onions, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. Hot Sauce
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 240 RITZ Crackers

Saute yellow onions in oil and butter in heavy saute pan on low heat 10 min. or until onions are tender. Remove from heat; cool.
Use pulsing action to process all remaining ingredients except crackers in food processor until well blended. Stir in onions. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Plate 2 Tbsp. dip with 5 crackers for each serving.
